A Local Collaboration in Light

Medusa was born from a close collaboration between NEOZ and Sydney-based resin artist Brad Allen-Waters. Working from his studio in the Blue Mountains, Brad has helped shape the unique aesthetic of NEOZ’s resin lamps over the years—bringing a deeply human element to an otherwise technical category. The lamp’s dome diffuser is cast, cured, and hand-finished to achieve a tactile, softly luminous surface. Available in translucent amber or clear resin, it glows gently when illuminated, creating warmth without visual glare. The base is machined from solid aluminium and powdercoated for durability and subtle contrast. As a whole, Medusa offers a balance of material richness and cordless practicality—crafted to bring intimacy and visual softness to tables and spaces of all kinds.

Medusa Cordless Lamp Collection

The Medusa collection features a handcrafted resin dome diffuser paired with a solid aluminium base. Resin is available in two translucent tones—amber and clear—each offering its own interplay of light and texture. The base is finished in satin black or bronze for a muted, architectural contrast. Medusa is designed to sit comfortably in intimate dining environments, refined lounges, or private residences where detail and warmth matter. Every diffuser is shaped and finished by hand, ensuring a level of individuality that sets it apart from mass-produced lighting.

Medusa stands 140 mm tall with a base diameter of 105 mm and a weight of approximately 1.5 kg. The dome diffuser is made from hand-shaped resin, available in clear or amber. The base is precision-machined from aluminium and powdercoated in bronze or satin black. A high-CRI LED delivers 2600 K warm white light, with an optional 1800 K warm candle variant. Three-stage dimming is standard. Runtime ranges from up to 130 hours on low to approximately 13 hours on high, depending on battery type. Charging time is approximately 5.5 hours. The lamp is IP52 rated and fully modular, with all components replaceable for long-term serviceability.
