The Cooee 4 is the newest member of the award-winning Cooee family, pairing the collection's slim, spun-metal body with a fluted polycarbonate diffuser that casts a soft, even glow threaded with subtle vertical lines of light.

True to NEOZ's modular-by-design thinking, its top diffuser is interchangeable, so the lamp can be restyled or refreshed over time rather than replaced. Rated IP64, it moves easily from a dining room to a sheltered terrace.

Choose from five finishes, sandblasted black, sandblasted bronze, anodised silver, or lacquered brass and copper, with a warm white or warm candle LED and brightness set by a touch of the base.

The Cooee family first appeared over a decade ago and went on to win international recognition for its slim, considered cordless design. Picked up by Peter Ellis and Gabriel Tam in 2025, the 4 carries that lineage forward, keeping the family's clean, spun-metal body while introducing a new fluted diffuser and a new kind of flexibility.

The Cooee 4 is built around NEOZ's modular-by-design thinking, with a top diffuser that is interchangeable rather than fixed. The fluted diffuser can be swapped to restyle the lamp as a room or a brand evolves, so a single lamp adapts over time instead of being replaced. It is the same principle that runs through the whole NEOZ system, brought right to the top of the lamp where you can see and change it.

The fluted polycarbonate diffuser wraps the LED in fine vertical ribs, so the light reads as a soft, even glow threaded with subtle lines of illumination rather than a flat wash. It casts an ambient sidelight around the lamp with a gentle downlight onto the table, a warm and quietly detailed light that suits dining tables, bars and lounges alike.

Your Cooee 4 is made to move, which is exactly why operators asked us to help them keep it close. The Cordless Lamp Lock secures it to the table itself. A low-profile plate fixes discreetly to the surface, the lamp locks on with a single press, and a dedicated key releases it. No tools, no brackets, and nothing a guest would ever notice.

It lets you place cordless light where you could not before. Outdoor terraces, bar tops and street-facing tables can carry your Cooee 4 with the confidence it will still be there tomorrow. The Cordless Lamp Lock is made from 75% post-consumer recycled polycarbonate.

What kind of light does the Cooee 4 give?

The Cooee 4 uses a fluted polycarbonate diffuser that wraps the LED in fine vertical ribs, producing a soft, even glow threaded with subtle lines of light. It casts an ambient sidelight around the lamp along with a gentle downlight onto the table, warm and atmospheric rather than a sharp beam.

Can the top diffuser be changed?

Yes. The Cooee 4 is modular by design, with an interchangeable top diffuser. The fluted diffuser can be swapped to restyle the lamp as your space or brand evolves, so a single lamp can be refreshed over time rather than replaced.

What finishes does the Cooee 4 come in?

The Cooee 4 is available in five finishes: sandblasted black, sandblasted bronze and anodised silver in anodised aluminium, plus brushed and lacquered brass and brushed and lacquered copper.

Can the Cooee 4 be used outdoors?

Yes. The Cooee 4 carries an IP64 rating, which makes it resistant to dust and water and suitable for sheltered outdoor settings such as terraces and poolsides, as well as full indoor use.

What LED options does the Cooee 4 have, and how long does it run?

It comes with a warm white LED at 2600K as standard and an optional warm candle LED at 1800K, both high-CRI (93+). A full charge takes around 3.5 hours and gives up to 17.5 hours of light on high, extending to around 55 hours on low, with brightness set by a touch of the base. The lamp ships with an N1 Charging Base, including AU, UK, EU and USA wall plugs.

Is the Cooee 4 serviceable and compatible with NEOZ charging and security systems?

Yes. Every major part is user replaceable, including the battery, light source and diffuser, and NEOZ offers repairs and servicing. Every N1 lamp works with all NEOZ charging systems, from the single N1 Charging Base up to the 48-lamp trolley. The Cooee 4 is also compatible with the Cordless Lamp Lock, which applies to N1 lamps whose serial number begins with L, for example LA1234.
